It is very comical indeed. I'm not trying to patronize you, please do mot make that mistake. What I am saying is this... that the only force capable of over-coming evil in this lifetime is compassion and love. It IS that simple my friend. Ian Brown simply observes what is there... Hatred. Greed, Jealousy, Violence. But what separates him from a lot of the rest is that he comes up with the solution thats been staring us in the face for years, a solution that our hearts knows will work. Better human relationships and love. Our brains have taken us as far as they can on their own. It's now time for the spirit to join in.

Re: Ben Folds Five to reunite for MySpace gig | noize makes enemies.co.uk | online music magazine

I love ben folds! You cannot have really listened to the cd. The Storys rock -Their music rocks !! They are are talented and gifted group of musicians
who can actually compose good songs. They play instruments and sing as good live as on their cd's. The Storys are REAL musicians but perhaps they are too real for someone who is more used to the manufactured bands that can neither sing or play let alone compose their own songs without all the help of a recording studio to do it for them.

Re: The Dears return with 'Missiles', their fourth studio album | noize makes enemies.co.uk | online music magazine

unconvincing new song on myspace

Re: Powderfinger – ‘Dream days at the hotel of existence’ (Album review) ~ noize+makes+enemies.co.uk | online music magazine

Very good album, VERY bad review

Re: The Depths - 'The Death of British Export' | noize makes enemies.co.uk | online music magazine

wow !!! Ha, ha.

I am disinclined to believe you listen to music in general with your comparisons and ill researched commentary.

Of your excuses for this album being another commercial commodity none of them are valid. You focus too much on the label owner (who has probably only met the band twice) and a producer (whose contribution to the entire album was minimal) when in fact, if you listened to the music, you would see that these 'cheeky Brixton boys' (whom you most certainly have never met) are shitting out addictive riffs and lyrics. If you want to comment on anything being poor, talk about the sound engineering.

You mention one song in the review, at the end. Paragraph one, rubbish about production and label. Paragraph two, rubbish about what you think their lives are like and a, one, uno, quote. Paragraph three, more life assumptions and finally a song is mentioned.

You don't describe their sound or their message to anyone? How is this even an album review when you don't talk about the bloody album?

My suggestion for anyone really wanting to hear The Thirst is to see them live. They are explosive and love to meet people.
